Dominik Mysterio wants his own Fortnite skin and reckons he could destroy his dad in WWE 2K26
Ahead of the ‘WWE 2K26 x Street Fighter Elite Pack’ and Ringside Pass 6, we spoke to “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio about his DLC role, what he'd change in WWE 2K27, embarrassing his dad, Rey Mysterio, and his dream of getting his own Fortnite skin.
Dom Mysterio is a big gamer, and it's not just WWE 2K that he enjoys playing. He's also a big fan of the free-to-play battle royale, Fortnite, and has been playing it since high school. Now, he has his sights set on becoming the first Mysterio to have his own skin in the game.
“I would love my own Fortnite skin,” Dom told GAMINGbible. “I want to be the first Mysterio in Fortnite. That would be insane.”
“I've been playing Fortnite since I was in high school, and I still play it. I'm almost a 30-year-old man still playing Fortnite, so if I have my own skin in there, it'll give me an even better excuse to continue to play. I think that'd be cool.”
Dominik Mysterio is Ken in the WWE 2K26 x Street Fighter crossover
The ‘WWE 2K26 x Street Fighter Elite Pack’ brings five WWE Superstars to the game, reimagined as iconic Street Fighter characters. The crossover looks brilliant in the gameplay footage shared on social media, with Dom Mysterio taking on the role of Ken, while his dad, Rey Mysterio, appears as Ryu. The Rock becomes M. Bison, Bianca Belair is Cammy, and the Ultimate Warrior is Blanka.
Each character also brings their own Street Fighter-inspired moves and animations to the ring, making for a fun crossover between two iconic franchises.
“Just look at the character that Dirty Dom and Ken mix to make. I might even have to do the blonde highlights just to match it one day,” Dom told us.
“I had to pre-order a couple of the action figures, so I have them in my game room.”
Street Fighter characters are known for their distinctive moves, so I asked Dom which fighter's abilities he'd most like to bring into a real wrestling match. His answer was certainly an interesting one.
“I would probably do a cheeky way of stealing Blanka's electricity and kind of having, like, an electric panel or something. If someone touches me, they just instantly pass out, and I could just beat everybody 1-2-3 clean.”

Dominik Mysterio reckons he'd embarrass his dad in WWE 2K26
We're not sure how much of a gamer Rey Mysterio is, but there's little doubt that Dom would fancy his chances if the pair faced off in WWE 2K26. After all, the father and son have had their fair share of drama on WWE programming, and Dom is confident he could get one over on his dad in the game, too.
“I would definitely take your business, very, very easily, not only in 2K, but in real life, and I would embarrass him so badly,” Dom declared.
With Dom appearing as Ken and Rey as Ryu in the Street Fighter crossover, a match between the pair in WWE 2K26 sounds like a lot of fun. Whether Rey would agree is another matter entirely.
Dominik Mysterio wants revenge on El Grande Americano in WWE 2K26
Dominik Mysterio's rivalry with El Grande Americano took another turn at AAA Héroes Inmortales, where Dom lost the AAA Mega Championship after his dad, Rey Mysterio, turned on him.
With Dirty Dom looking to reclaim the title, I asked what he had to say to El Grande and which WWE 2K26 match stipulation he'd choose to settle the score in-game.
“He has what's mine, and that is the AAA Mega Campeonato,” Dom told us. “I'm gonna go in there and take care of business. I'm gonna take back what's rightfully mine, because I had that title for a little over one year.”
So, how would he go about getting his revenge on El Grande in WWE 2K26? Dom had a few ideas, but one stipulation stood out.
“I would probably do, like, a backstage brawl, where we could just fight all over the backstage. I can lock him in a room and disappear or, like, get help from all of The Judgment Day.”
He wasn't finished there, either.
“Have the girls come beat up on him, because he can't hit them back, you know? We have Raquel powerbombing him through tables. I don't know, but probably a backstage brawl would be cool.”
Given the history between these two, a backstage brawl sounds like the perfect way for Dom to try to get his title back in-game.
WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass 6 adds a host of new content
Ringside Pass 6 brings another batch of content to WWE 2K26, including new playable Superstars, personas, packs and in-game currency across its free and premium tiers.
Among the headline additions to the premium pass are WWE legends Earthquake and Typhoon, collectively known as The Natural Disasters, alongside AAA star Octagon Jr. and Royce Keys, who made his WWE debut at the 2026 Royal Rumble and is now associated with the 9-4-6 faction.
Looking at what's coming to WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass 6, I asked Dom which of the new additions he'd recruit into his own faction, The Judgment Day.
“I would take Royce Keys,” he replied. “I would take Royce, and I would have him bring all of the 9-4-6 with him.”
We're not sure how Royce would respond to that offer, but a Judgment Day and 9-4-6 alliance would certainly make for an interesting combination in WWE and the 2K series.
What Dominik Mysterio wants changed in WWE 2K27
While Dom is happy with how his in-game character looks, there is one thing he'd like to have more control over in WWE 2K27.
“Man, that's a good question because, honestly, they have hit Dirty Dom pretty spot-on on most stuff,” he told us.
“I remember I was pretty critical when the mullet wasn't as long as it should have been, and it wasn't flowing as it flows. But they've done a really good job.”
So, what would he change next time around?
“The only thing I would change, I would say, is I would pick my own gear. Like, which gear would go in the game, and which one with my boots, the ring jacket. I would want to pick that out.”
It's a fair request, especially when your in-game character is as recognisable as Dirty Dom. Perhaps we'll see him get his wish in WWE 2K27.
The thing that's brought Dominik Mysterio the most joy
Finally, I asked Dom what had brought him the most joy over the past 12 months, whether that was professionally or in his personal life.
“The time I've been able to spend at home with the family,” he said. “I have a little Boxer-Pit Bull. She actually had cancer, and she had to go through multiple surgeries. So, me being able to be home with my dog, that was the best for me.”
Thankfully, Dom confirmed that his dog is now doing well.
“She's all good. She's nice and healthy. We call it a little chicken paw because they took one of her little fingers, but honestly, she's the best, and she's still out there making a mess. The dogs are the best.”
We couldn't agree more, Dom.
