A new cast member is joining Scrubs as a nurse on Turk's medical team.
Deadline reports that Keyla Monterroso Mejia will play a surgical nurse named Mimi in a recurring role during the second season of the Scrubs reboot. The character is described as being quirky, sassy, high-energy, and loyal.
Mejia is a comedian who has appeared on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Abbott Elementary, Running Point, The Studio and Acapulco. She also starred in Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon's 2025 Prime Video film You're Cordially Invited.
