McDonald’s Xbox collab revealed, with in-game rewards in six huge games

McDonald’s have teamed up with Xbox to bring six iconic gaming franchises into their restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
For this round of McDonald’s Side Missions, a campaign first launched in 2025, collaborating franchises include Halo, Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 6, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Candy Crush.
Gamers and fast-food lovers alike will be able to enjoy game-inspired menu items as well as in-game exclusives that can be unlocked via the McDonald’s app using reward points.
Tim Kenward, senior vice president, chief marketing officer at McDonald’s UK & Ireland, said: "Gaming is all about imagination and the worlds we love to get lost in. What excites me about this partnership is that we're bringing parts of these iconic gaming worlds to life, giving fans the chance to experience food they have only ever seen on screen.
"As a huge Fallout fan, I’m most excited for the Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites."
In-game rewards include the Red Hot Portable Bakery for World of Warcraft – a fan favourite item that's making its return – as well as the Master Chief Armour for Halo: Campaign Evolved and a car voucher for Forza Horizon 6, allowing players to unlock an exclusive vehicle.
Further unlockables include a Sugar Bomb Bundle in Fallout 76, a Kiriko Donut Break Emote in Overwatch and a Booster Bundle for Candy Crush.
A release date for the campaign has not been officially released, but we can expect further news to come soon.
