Asmongold Officially Banned On Twitch After Controversial Statement

Controversial streamer Asmongold has been banned on Twitch after saying on stream that he would shoot migrant kids to stop them from crossing the border.
This is Asmongold's second ban this year alone.
As reported by Mario Nawfal, during an August 3 livestream, Asmongold watched an episode of The Nick Shirley Show titled 'Ceuta Spain was Invaded... Spain Falls to Moroccan Migrants.' While watching this video on stream, Asmongold discussed the lengths he would go to in order to stop people entering the country without permission, saying that he had "no sympathy" for those who found themselves at the Spanish border.
"This is emotional blackmail right where you can't shoot these people — they have kids with them. Well then, don't bring your kids," he said. "If you don't wanna get shot, then don't bring your fu**ing kids. It's really simple. You mean you'd shoot adults and deport the kids, right? Well, I'd shoot whoever. Yeah, I'd shoot whoever. If it's kids, women, men, anybody, just shoot them. They gonna stop coming over. Because if you don't do that they'll use children and women as shields to get themselves over, and then they'll put more women and children at risk because they know that they can use them as collateral so that they can get more of themselves over."
Asmongold then says, "That's the way an animal thinks," calling migrants "savages." This is the same man who smeared his gum blood onto the walls, found dead rats in his home, lives amid towering stacks of empty takeaway containers and stashes of rotting food, with wolf spiders and other pests crawling through the mess.
"Of course, you don't wanna do that, it doesn't mean you wanna do it," he continued. "But you have to do what you need to do in order to enforce your borders, man. That's the way it is. People are too emotional to see that. I understand that the way I talk about this might be a little bit extreme, might be a little bit unemotional. I wish we had more people like me. We got too many pussies who are worried about the optics of something rather than the reality."
Twitch Explicitly Prohibits Discrimination Over Immigration Status
While the exact reason behind his ban hasn't been disclosed, nor the length, Twitch guidelines explicitly prohibit hateful conduct and behavior that promotes or encourages discrimination and violence.
"Harassment becomes hateful conduct when the attack is based on identity characteristics," Twitch states. "We consider the following identity-based attributes to be protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status. We’ve added caste, color, and immigration status to this list to ensure we are evolving with our global community and providing sufficient protection for under-represented groups."
Asmongold's comments are a clear violation of this policy, and likely why he was banned. And on top of pushback from Twitch, he's also drawn ire from viewers and other high-profile streamers, such as Sneako, who simply posted, "Demonic filth. Not even a human."
