Sean Bean’s Dark New Western Thriller Officially Getting Major Release Next Week

Sean Bean is starring in a new Western thriller called The Isolate Thief, and its digital release date has just been announced.

Aside from Bean, the film also stars Interstellar's Mackenzie Foy, Lady Bird's Odeya Rush, The Killer's Jack Kesy, The Whale's Ty Simpkins, Frybread Face and Me's Martin Sensmeier and Bad Boys for Life's Joe Pantoliano. John Suits, who previously helmed Pandemic and Breach, is the director of The Isolate Thief, with a script by Kevin Lefler.

Radial Entertainment and Hideout Pictures just announced that The Isolate Thief will be available to rent and buy on all major digital platforms beginning August 4.

Alongside this news, the studio released a 15-second teaser video that features Bean and Foy's characters meeting for the first time. She's also given a warning about a group of ruthless outlaws and what they're capable of.

In The Isolate Thief, Foy plays the caretaker of a Union Army outpost during the Civil War. Everything changes in an instant when stolen gold comes into her possession, causing a chain reaction that includes the outlaws making her a major target so they can take the gold.

Her quiet life as an outpost caretaker turns upside down, and she's forced into survival mode while trying to outwit the enemies. The film was released in theaters on July 10.

Bean is best known for roles on both the big and small screens, most notably as Boromir in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and as Ned Stark on Game of Thrones.

He and his Lord of the Rings co-stars earned a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and a Critics' Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble.

After the first season of Game of Thrones, Bean and the rest of the cast landed a SAG nod in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

A year later, the actor was nominated for Leading Actor at the BAFTAs for his performance in Accused, and later won for the anthology series Time.

Outside of these roles, Bean has also appeared in films like Patriot Games, GoldenEye, Anna Karenina, Equilibrium, National Treasure, Troy, Flightplan, Silent Hill, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and The Martian, and the TV shows Missing, Legends, The Frankenstein Chronicles, The Oath, Snowpiercer and Robin Hood.

After appearing on shows like 'Til Death, FlashForward and Hawaii Five-0, Foy made her movie debut in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, playing Renesmee Cullen.

She went on to star in The Conjuring, Interstellar (which earned her a Critics' Choice Movie Award nomination and a win at the Saturn Awards), The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Black Beauty and Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise.

Now Bean and Foy, who have been a part of major franchises in the past, are acting together for the first time in The Isolate Thief, which currently has a 73% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
