A New $300 Secret Lair MTG Deck Just Got Leaked
It's never been easy keeping exciting Magic: The Gathering reveals under wraps, but when it comes to Secret Lair, Wizards of the Coast is consistently shooting itself in the foot by sending out unreleased products to players.
This is how we've learned about a ton of new Secret Lair products, including the recent Hatsune Miku Commander deck. It's surely not how Wizards wants new products revealed, but until it gets its delivery issues under control, we may see more leaks like this in the future.
Odds And Ends Deck Featuring Art By Ricardo Cavolo Leaked In Full
The new Odds and Ends deck was first spotted in full shortly after the Hatsune Miku Commander deck finished its 24-hour print-to-demand window, and this Esper deck features card art by Ricardo Cavolo, who isn't entirely new to Magic but only has eight cards to his name, seven of which are from a previous Secret Lair drop. This deck first leaked in some fashion, however, back in December 2025, when we didn't yet have a name or artist attached to the project, just some cards from a partial deck list.
The deck uses Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign as the Commander, a $0.33 card at the time of writing. It costs five mana (1W, 1U, 1B, 2C) and enters play as a 3/5 with Flying, Vigilance, and Menace. Whenever Yennett attacks, you reveal the top card of your library and cast it without paying its mana cost if its mana value is odd. If you don't cast it, either through choice or because of the mana value, then you draw a card.
Because of this ability, very few cards in the deck actually have an even mana value. Only Arcane Signet, Talisman of Progress, Time Stop, and Extinction Event have even mana values, meaning you can freely cast almost every nonland permanent if revealed using Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign.
You can view the full deck list over on Moxfield, but note that even though a copy of the deck has been sent out, there could still be changes made at any time. Some leaks for the Hatsune Miku deck proved inaccurate, so nothing is confirmed until Wizards reveals the final deck list.
Another Secret Lair Leak, But No Release Date Or Price... Yet
@SadPoor on XWe've already been treated to two new Secret Lair decks this year, Goblin Storm and Hatsune Miku, and while it's looking likely that we'll be getting a third, there's no current indication that the Odds and Ends deck is guaranteed to release in 2026.
Only eight Secret Lair decks have ever been released until now; this number would rise to nine, with three in 2026 alone if Odds and Ends is due this year.
Value-wise, the deck in its current cheapest form is worth around $294, with a full variant deck taking the total value to around $338. Despite this strong value, we don't expect the cost of the deck to be any lower than $149.99, which is exactly what Goblin Storm and Hatsune Miku sold for. However, this deck includes a reprint of Esper Sentinel, a $60+ card, so it would be somewhat understandable if the deck sold for $199.99 or even more.
Time will tell just how accurate any of these leaks have been and how much we'll have to pay for the deck. Most players, however, are just keen to see this deck released via print-to-demand for a limited time, just like Hatsune Miku, so they can guarantee their copies.
