Whilst having a PlayStation Plus subscription will save you some money in the long run, especially as it occasionally grants access to some day one releases at no extra cost, there is no denying that its ever-increasing membership fee is becoming unattainable for many users. With yet another price increase hinted at back in July, there is no telling how much we will be paying for our subscriptions this time next year and so it is no surprise that many PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users are making the decision to cancel.

However, it is not all doom and gloom, as there is still a way to enjoy some PlayStation titles for free courtesy of PS demos, and these five brand-new additions are guaranteed to see you making a full purchase upon their launch.

5 Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault

Earlier this month saw Digital Sun's Moonlighter be made completely free on Steam for a limited time, and whilst the offer is no longer available, players can now get a taste of the highly anticipated sequel courtesy of PlayStation demos.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault allows players to live the life of a fearless adventurer and a crafty merchant to boot as they dive into stunning dimensions filled with loot and enemies in order to bring back items to grow their shop. As you make your mark among a ragtag community of castaways, you will soon realize that this action-adventure RPG is not one to miss out on in 2026.

As you watch the village slowly come to life under your care, you will be able to enchant the stores and the very residents themselves as you fill them with dragon cards in this stunning card game. If you love dragons, you'll love this one.
