New Jersey Is Officially Getting A Real FNAF Pizzeria In 2027

A Real FNAF Pizzeria Is Opening, Just Hopefully Without Murderous Animatronics

ScottGames has announced that it's opening a permanent immersive restaurant next year based on the Five Nights at Freddy's series in Bergen County, New Jersey, at the American Dream retail complex.

According to The Express Tribune, the pizzeria will transform the game location into a place where fans can play arcade games, munch on pizza, and watch animatronic performances. Just please don't jump scare me when I have a mouth full of pepperoni.

The idea of a real world FNAF pizzeria might sound a little bit like going to a real-world Saw escape room to experience the joys of sticking your head in a bear trap, but it won't quite be that immersive.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Will Have Horror Experiences, Animatronic Stage Plays, And "High Quality" Food

Rather than murdering guests (which would be a little rough for business), the animatronics will be used primarily for two stage plays: Freddy and the Fazbear Band on the Main Stage, and Foxy the Pirate in Pirate Cove. However, there will also be horror-inspired multiplayer experiences behind the curtain for guests to enjoy, so maybe a few jump scares as a treat.

The animatronic show has to be authentic. The food has to be high quality.

"The only way this experience succeeds is if it's created by a team that knows Five Nights at Freddy's inside out," American Dream creative manager, licensing and location-based entertainment, and creative lead Atreyu Alcantar said. "The animatronic show has to be authentic. The food has to be high quality.

"We're not building a set that looks like Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — we're building Freddy Fazbear's Pizza," she continued. "This experience will immerse longtime fans in the world they've imagined for years."
