Pokemon's Popular Free Lego Sets Are Back For A Limited Time

Lego Is Giving Pokemon Fans A Second Chance To Get Its Delisted Gift Sets

Even though official Pokemon Lego sets have only been around for six months, there are already two that you can no longer get your hands on. Or at least that was the case until Lego decided to give fans a second chance at picking them up when it launched its second wave of Pokemon sets over the weekend.

Lego's Pokemon Center And Kanto Badge Sets Are Back

Pokemon’s Lego collection launched with three sets back in February. However, there were two additional sets that money couldn’t buy. A Pokemon Center that could only be bought using Lego Insider points, and a Kanto Badge Lego set that came free with the $650 Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set.

The Pokemon Center set quickly sold out, and the Kanto Badge set, like all Lego’s gifts with purchases, was only available for a limited time. However, both were so popular that Lego has brought them back. You’ll have to be quick though, as with 15 new Pokemon Lego sets releasing last week, the collection will likely be getting more attention right now than ever before.

Mini Pokemon Center

The Mini Pokemon Center set is 233 pieces and, as the name of the set implies, is modeled after the Pokemon Center design from the games. Particularly relevant right now considering how big a role they play in Pokemon Pokopia.

To get the Mini Pokemon Center, all you have to do is access its page on the Insider section of Lego’s website and redeem your code. It costs 2,500 points, so you’re going to have to buy some more Lego if you haven’t quite hit that threshold. Annoyingly, you will then have to buy more Lego again after. Redeeming the set grants you a code, and that code can only be used when you buy something else from Lego’s website.

The code is good for 60 days, so you won’t need to buy something right away.

Kanto Region Badge Collection

Getting your hands on the Kanto Badge set is both easier and more difficult at the same time. Easier because there is no redemption process necessary; all you have to do is buy a certain Lego set. More difficult because, as was the case the first time Lego Pokemon badges were being given away, the set you have to buy is the $650 one.

From now until August 10, 2026, if you buy the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Lego set, you will once again get the Kanto Badge set for no additional charge. Almost certainly the most frustrating thing about Pokemon’s foray into Lego so far, as that badge collection is my favorite set so far, but there is no way I’m ever going to own it when it’s locked behind a $650 purchase.

There is still a silver lining in the shape of a bone Lego threw our way earlier this year. Recognizing that a lot of people who want those Lego badges either missed out or couldn’t afford to spend $650, it shared the building instructions. That means you can technically go out and buy the pieces to build the set yourself, and it’ll cost a lot less than $650.
