Disney Adapting New Fantasy Movie Based On Bestselling Trilogy That Sold 2M Copies

Disney Live Action has officially picked up a new feature film.

The upcoming movie will be based on a book series, The Dallergut Dream Department Store. The bestselling fantasy novels are written by author Miye Lee. The screenplay will be adapted by Patrick Ness (A Monster Calls).

The novel is the first book in a trilogy and centers on Penny, who gets a job selling dreams at the mystical Dallergut Dream Department Store. When unsettling and dangerous incidents begin affecting the customers, Penny decides to investigate what is happening before the threat extends beyond just her store.
