Star Trek Officially Debuts Captain Kirk's Hardcore New Design
Star Trek Officially Reveals Captain Kirk's Hardcore Transformation
As Star Trek continues Captain Kirk's far-future return, the legendary captain debuts a hardcore, battle-damaged redesign, his human appearance giving way to advanced tech after two decades of battle.
The recent Star Trek: The Last Starship has brought Kirk back to life, half-cloned, half-resurrected into existence by Borg Queen Agnes Jurati. In a far future where the Federation has collapsed, Kirk has sworn himself to wage a one-starship war against the fascistic Emerald Chain.
Last issue, Kirk broke with ally Admiral Sato, declaring he would bring down the Emerald Chain no matter what it takes. No, Last Starship makes that cost apparent.
Star Trek Reveals Captain Kirk's Battle-Damaged Redesign
Today's Star Trek: The Last Starship #10 - from Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, Adrián Bonilla, Lee Loughridge and Clayton Cowles - jumps forward twenty-five years, revealing a battered Kirk as captain of the U.S.S. Omega.
After over two decades fighting the Emerald Chain, Kirk has sustained significant damage, losing some of his human appearance which is replaced by the Borg-tech used to clone him back to life.
This is a developing story, more will be added shortly...
