Yuki Ito shared a new stunning work.

3D Artist Yuki Ito, renowned for impressive water simulations, shared a new setup featuring a close-up of coastal rock formations and ocean waves.

The artwork impressed the audience and inspired viewers to ask the artist about the technical details of the setup. Yuki Ito explained that they included a wetmap in the scene to simulate moisture on the rocks, though the effect turned out more subtle than expected, as the rough rock surface, strong color variation, and soft overcast lighting made the wet effect harder to notice. The artist also used an underwater volume was also used to enhance the scene's depth and atmosphere.
