FC 27: Release date speculation, early access, platforms, pre-orders and latest news

With the World Cup now over, plenty of us are already excited for the new season to kick off, as well as the approaching FC 27 release date.

This year's wonderkids and FUT Champs will keep us all entertained for the moment, but we already have our eyes set on what's to come.

But if you want to know when FC 27 is going to release, here's everything we know about this year's game.

The FC 27 release date is yet to be confirmed by EA Sports.

That being said, based on previous years, it's safe to assume that the game will launch on the last Friday of September.

Last year, for example, FC 26 launched on Friday, 26 September 2026, so it may just be a matter of applying that to this year.

As such, we believe that FC 27 will launch on 25 September 2026.

In fact, a recent leak from French website Dealabs has reported exactly this, as well as a host of other announcements.

Naturally, this is just speculation, and we won't know for sure until EA officially announces it.

FC 27 early access

While not yet confirmed, it seems likely that FC 27 will have early access for certain players.

In previous years, players who have purchased the Ultimate Edition have been able to play the game seven days early.

Applying that to the release date above, then we can assume that FC 27 early access could open on 18 September 2026.

FC 27 platforms: Is it on PS4 and Xbox One?

EA hasn't confirmed what platforms FC 27 is on, but it's safe to assume based on previous years that it will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.

EA FC has been one of the few series to continue releasing games on last-generation hardware, and it looks like that could be set to continue.

According to leaks reported by Dealabs, FC 27 will also launch on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 1, in addition to their current-gen counterparts.

Can I pre-order FC 27?

At the time of writing, you cannot currently pre-order FC 27.

Typically, pre-orders open over the summer, closer to the game's release date.

Is there a trailer for FC 27?

Unfortunately, there is currently no trailer for FC 27.

We would expect to see one released at some point in late July or early August, as EA begins the marketing for this year's game.
