GTA 6: The Album limited-edition vinyl triples in price as resellers hit eBay
Rockstar Games has confirmed the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album alongside GTA VI on November 19.
The 34-track album is available to pre-save on Spotify with pre-orders already live for physical copies.
Yes, unlike the game itself, GTA VI: The Album is getting a physical release.
There are three versions that gamers can pre-order from Rockstar Games’ official store, with variants set to arrive in select retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Blood Records, and more soon.
It’s the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album - Limited-Edition Vinyl that’s hitting the headlines though, having almost instantly sold out with copies now having surfaced on eBay.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album - Limited-Edition Vinyl sold out within a matter of minutes of going live, despite its £108.99 price tag.
It’s a ridiculously high price tag considering that the vinyl’s only unique selling point is a different disc and artwork design.
In this limited edition, you’ll get “two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid” and as someone who collects vinyl and owns liquid-filled discs, I’ve never paid anything close to this.
Perhaps that price tag is beginning to look cheap though, as resellers have seemingly snapped up copies of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album - Limited-Edition Vinyl with listings having appeared on eBay for almost three times as much.
At the time of writing, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album - Limited-Edition Vinyl is listed on eBay for £312.70, £385.57, and £313.87 from sellers in the UK, USA, and Italy.

Listings will continue to fluctuate - and there’s every chance that resale prices could rise even further.
Be careful if you’re considering purchasing a sought after product on the resale market
Resale of limited-edition products is always a sad sight to see, because it preys on the excitement of real fans who desperately want to own these releases.
Of course, we’d urge caution if you’re actively considering purchasing from a reseller.
It's impossible to verify whether a listing is legitimate as all listings have placeholder images considering that no one will have the product in hand until November 19.
You will often benefit from buyer protections on resale sites but even still, don’t rush into making rash decisions.
Admittedly, GTA VI: The Album’s regular vinyl looks just as good, and it costs a fraction of the price at just £44.99.
You won’t get liquid-filled discs in this version, but you do get a transparent magenta with blue splatter design that, again, looks equally as cool.
Alternatively, the CD is available for £10.99 - or you could just listen to the album on streaming services like Spotify.
The full 34 tracks are yet to be revealed. Rockstar Games has confirmed six songs, all of which are available to listen to now:
- Yung Lean - 'That's It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)'
- Travis Scott - 'RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)'
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., & Etienne de Crécy - 'Sexy Magic'
- Morgan Wallen - 'Last Thing You Need'
- Rauw Alejandro - 'Macacoa 2000'
- Keith Richards - 'Bright Lights, Big City'
Rockstar Games is yet to announce a true collector’s edition for GTA VI, with gamers able to pre-order either the standard or Ultimate Edition, with the latter featuring digital perks only.
If a collector’s edition does ultimately become available, our hope is that availability fares better than this limited-edition vinyl release.
Certainly, limited-edition products aren’t a new phenomenon but selling out in a matter of minutes isn’t going to win anyone over.
