Fully Procedural Stylized Sky Generator For Blender Released
Create skies with one click, animate, export, paint over, and more. It's now 25% off for a limited time.
3D Generalist Rei, who you might remember for their collection of stylized Blender tools, including the tree generator, has just added another promising tool to the lineup. It's called Stylized Sky World Generator, a fully procedural system for creating skies, clouds, and suns, designed specifically for NPR workflows. With just one click, you can generate a complete stylized sky, and from there, you're free to art-direct it however you like.
The generator comes with 12 presets you can use as a starting point and tweak from there. You also get several cloud layers that you can turn on and off individually, each layer moves at a different speed, which helps give the scene a sense of depth.
Pretty much everything can be customized, too. You can change the sky gradient, the colors of each cloud's lights and shadows, and move the sun or moon around. And since every setting can be animated with keyframes, you can easily make timelapses, day-to-night transitions, and more.
Stylized Sky World Generator is a great option if you need a sky for an animated shot, a base to paint over, or an environment you can use in a game engine. It also includes a comprehensive user guide that covers all the features.
The generator works with both Eevee and Cycles, and supports Blender 4.2 and above. To celebrate the launch, Rei is offering 25% off for the first week.
