Halo: Campaign Evolved Players Can Claim A Free In-Game Cosmetic Right Now

Although Halo: Campaign Evolved has been getting hit with criticism for its in-game visual design, one thing that the new remake has to offer in spades comes from the variety of suits that Master Chief can wear. Although most of Chief's outfits are locked behind paid cosmetics, there are still some that you can grab for yourself entirely for free.

In addition to the various codes and limited-edition quests that will net you some free cosmetic goodies, the developers of Campaign Evolved just dropped yet another armor style for Chief on their official Halo X account that can be claimed entirely for free with the latest update.

How To Claim The Free Recompilation Armor Cosmetic

Launching alongside numerous gameplay stability improvements and visual setting options, the following steps will allow you to claim the Recompilation Armor Style to wear the next time you hop into Campaign Evolved.

Visit the Halo Waypoint Redemption Page
Sign in to the Microsoft account tied to your Halo Campaign Evolved save
Enter the code: ZS75-7UM8-C2BL-JE3D-4BFZ
Then hit Redeem.

After you've entered the code, the next time you launch Campaign Evolved, you'll be greeted with a bright blue holographic-style armor skin for Chief that helps match his style more closely with Cortana. Although the announcement has been met with fans still frustrated by some of the visual changes or bugs present in Campaign Evolved, the free bonus helps make up for some of the issues still plaguing the FPS game.

The latest Recompilation Armor Style is only the most recent of Campaign Evolved's free skin offerings, as players can also claim two additional skins by using the following codes in order to unlock them for yourself in-game entirely for free.

Considering that Campaign Evolved is relatively short for a single playthrough alone, free cosmetics like these offer a nice way to spice up your next run through the sci-fi space opera, especially if you're playing in third-person and can fully appreciate some of Halo: Campaign Evolved's more detailed cosmetics.
