The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3, Episode 4 Trailer: Maggie Meets The Trader As Chaos Erupts Back Home

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3, episode 3!Maggie is about to face her biggest challenge yet.

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3, episode 4 trailer sees Maggie meet the mysterious Trader as chaos erupts back at her new Manhattan home. Dead City season 3, episode 3 saw her and Renata take in two warring factions, treating their injured after a massive battle that happened on the mainland. While the leaders of both groups wound up killing each other, their people set aside their differences and began working together, bringing Maggie and Renata's vision of a peaceful community one step closer to reality.

Now, AMC has released a new trailer for Dead City season 3, episode 4, which sees Maggie and ER doctor Luis going to meet the Trader, a mysterious figure in purple who can give them additional medical supplies. However, the journey becomes dangerous after something seemingly gets revealed, forcing Maggie to protect Luis as the pair's journey becomes unexpectedly hostile. Meanwhile, in Manhattan, Negan is helping Renata with fortifying the community. While every event remains unclear, it seems the Walkers they use to power the hospital are going to get loose.

Dead City's characters are slowly beginning to work with one another again. Despite not needing to, Negan took the leaders of the two new groups aside in the latest episode, trying to scare them into telling him why they were at war in the first place. While it didn't work, it showed that, despite not agreeing with Maggie and Renata's peaceful approach to things, he's still willing to set aside their differences and help when possible.

As for Maggie, her journey follows up on the harrowing medical drama approach of season 3, episode 3. Her, Luis, and Hershel were on the floor trying to save patients after a power outage, having to deal with the deceased as they turned into Walkers and began attacking them. Thankfully, power came back on just in time, and with help from some community members setting aside their differences, they were able to save a majority of people. But now, they need more supplies, hence their visit to the Trader.

It's unclear what their journey will bring about, nor what the larger story of their encounter is going to entail. However, Maggie needs to make sure Luis is safe, given he's the group's only doctor, and losing him would be a disaster for the entire hospital. But Negan may have even more challenges of his own to deal with: Dillard is keeping a Walker chained up in his bedroom, and appears to have romantic delusions for her. All this lays the groundwork for a wild episode full of surprises.

With the season now entering the halfway point, things are looking up for Maggie's new group. But, with Dead City already setting the stage for even more challenging scenarios, their current level of peace probably won't last for much longer. Even so, resilience against challenges has been a focal point of season 3 thus far, meaning the group will probably find some way out of it, no matter what awaits.
