One-Time Purchase Sculpting Tool For Maya Inspired By ZBrush

Autodesk has discontinued Mudbox, but Maya users may have just found a promising alternative in Morteza Ahmadi's CGE Sculpting Tool. The concept is impressive, and the tool already looks nice. Best of all, it comes with a perpetual license, meaning you pay once and own it, no subscription involved.
According to the developer, it's a complete, GPU-accelerated sculpting tool for Maya, designed to handle millions of polygons with support for multi-resolution sculpting and sculpt layers. It features cloth brushes with collision support, pose brushes for easy limb adjustments, cut and trim tools, radial and multi-axis symmetry, and an auto LOD and decimation system.
CGE Sculpting Tool also includes per-object undo history, a navigation system optimized for sculpting, and a built-in SDF system with voxel sculpting currently available in an early version. You get to model, sculpt, retopologize, UV unwrap, and render all without ever leaving Maya.
The brush library offers 24 ZBrush-inspired sculpting brushes: Standard, Draw, Inflate, Clay, ClayBuildup, SoftClay, Smooth, Flatten, Polish, Polish+, hPolish, HardFlatten, MultiPlane, Pinch, Crease, Dam, Chisel, Move, SnakeHook, Smear, Nudge, Spiral, Mask, and Pose.
The tool is compatible with Autodesk Maya 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 on Windows. Mac support is also in development and coming soon. Purchase CGE Sculpting Tool for Maya here.
