Blizzard May Be Hinting at Return of Legendary StarCraft Character
Speculation is heating up as BlizzCon draws near.
Ahead of BlizzCon, Blizzard might tease fans with a StarCraft reveal. There are two teasers on the official StarCraft: Remastered website, spotted by GamesRadar: strange glitches appearing over the regular website with the game materials, and a transmission possibly pointing to the return of one of the characters – Queen of Blades.
The new transmission reportedly shows glimpses of some crates spiraling out of control, possibly indicating some terrible incident. After that, a patient's shipping log appears with the person's eight-letter name starting with a "K," which potentially might point to Sarah Kerrigan, infested by Zerg and seeking dominance over the galaxy.
However, it's speculation for now.
BlizzCon is Blizzard Entertainment's annual gaming convention, spotlighting major franchises like Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch. In 2026, it's set to take place September 12-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Blizzard recently partnered with CDPR to bring more The Witcher content to the studio's platforms. The upcoming remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the Songs of the Past DLC will launch on Battle.net, and a Geralt-inspired skin will appear in Diablo IV. BlizzCon 2026 will reveal more details about the skin and the studios' collaboration.
