Avengers: Doomsday Ticket Sales Numbers Reportedly Revealed After $2 Billion Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Avengers: Doomsday might just beat Spider-Man: Brand New Day after all.
Avengers: Doomsday is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most ambitious movies, if not the most ambitious. The upcoming Marvel film will put together the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Fox's original X-Men, and more superhero teams. All of those heroes in the Avengers: Doomsday cast are needed, as they will go up against Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom to save the multiverse. As the first Avengers movie since 2019's Avengers: Endgame, as well as the project that will bring back the two faces of the franchise, Downey and Steve Rogers star Chris Evans, anticipation is sky-high for Avengers: Doomsday.
According to a new report from The Wrap, after two days, Avengers: Doomsday's presales are ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day's in that same timeframe by 65%, a considerable margin. There is a major difference between the two 2026 MCU movies, though, as Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day started selling tickets only 45 days before it swung into theaters. Avengers: Doomsday's presales opened four months before the film is set to arrive in theaters on December 18. Based on the huge success the new Spider-Man movie has seen at the box office, Avengers: Doomsday's early ticket sales could set a new record.
