Marvel's Wolverine file size revealed: How much space do you need?
Games are getting bigger and bigger, and if you're worried about how much space you'll need for Marvel's Wolverine, we now know the file size.
Whether you never delete your games or love to hoard clips and screenshots, you might find yourself agonising on what to bin to make room for Wolverine.
So, here's what you need to know about the Marvel's Wolverine file size.
Marvel's Wolverine file size revealed: How much space do you need?
Marvel's Wolverine has a file size of 79.36GB, as reported by PlayStation Size.
For comparison, while that's higher than both Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (71GB) and Miles Morales (39GB), it's nearly 20GB smaller than Insomniac's most recent title Spider-Man 2, which clocks in at a hefty 98GB.
Now, it's worth bearing in mind that Spider-Man 2 is a game that includes an entire open world city to explore, so it's perhaps to be expected that it would have a higher file size.
Conversely, both Spider-Man and Miles Morales were initially released as PS4 titles, so it makes sense that those would have a smaller file size too.
Considering Wolverine is a shorter, more linear experience, we think that suggests that the file size is a touch bloated by models and cutscenes, though that's just speculation.
Naturally, we all want our games to take up the least size possible, but in a world where Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 can hit as much as 220GB on PlayStation 5 consoles, managing to sneak in at just under 80GB is very welcome indeed.
Hopefully it'll be a touch smaller if and when it comes to PC.
Now, you better get Wolverine done and dusted quickly, because we're all going to be deleting anything and everything once those inevitably massive Grand Theft Auto 6 file requirements drop.
