GTA 6 launch times revealed with New Zealand to get early access

The worldwide release times for GTA 6 appear to have been revealed via listings on the PlayStation Store.
With the Netflix Extended Look having revealed plenty of new content and the release date now only two months away, the hype for GTA 6 is only growing.
And as part of that, we may now know exactly when we'll be able to jump into Leonida for the first time, with worldwide release times having been revealed.
As spotted by GTAVice, the game's listing on the PlayStation Store appears to confirm that the game will not receive a simultaneous worldwide release.
Instead, there are 15 separate release windows ranging from 11am UTC on 18 November and 6am UTC on 19 November, with the game set to launch at midnight local time in select time zones.
That means those of us in the UK will get our hands on the game a full five hours before our friends in the Americas, with the game set to launch across the US and Canada at midnight ET on 19 November.
Perhaps more interestingly, this does mean that the notorious New Zealand trick may be on the cards for players wanting to jump in early.
For those unaware, players have long been changing their console's region to New Zealand for staggered releases like this, as it lets them start playing well in advance of when they otherwise could.
In this instance, that's 13 hours early for UK players, and a whopping 18 hours early if you're in the US and Canada.
Considering the game would otherwise launch at midnight, forcing anyone who wants to play it to either stay awake into the wee hours or just go to bed and play it in the morning, the chance to jump in at a normal hour is one that plenty will no doubt jump at.
Unless you're in New Zealand that is. Then you've got no choice but to stay up – sorry guys!
