Fortnite Gaming Season Officially Revealed With Tons Of Collabs
Crash Bandicoot, Mega Man, Spyro, And More Confirmed For Fortnite's Gaming Legends Season
The official launch trailer for Fortnite's long-rumoured gaming season has finally debuted, confirming a bunch of the leaked crossovers like Pac-Man, Mega Man, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and more.
It's always an exciting time when a new Fortnite season is about to go live, but I'd argue that Chapter 7, Season 4 is the most interesting the game has had in a very long time. That is, of course, because it's all themed around Fortnite's line of Gaming Legends, which is about to get bigger than it ever has been before.
We've been hearing about the Gaming Legends season, officially titled Override, for quite some time now, with many of its collaborations like Persona, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tetris being confirmed over the past few weeks. Override's launch trailer just went live, giving us our best look yet at the season and the stars it's bringing to the table.

Sora Isn't Here Just Yet, Though
The trailer for Fortnite's Override season showed Jonesy waking up in a digital world and running into a bunch of different characters, including a very strange-looking Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon (who is clearly a Sidekick), Joker from Persona, Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, and several other gaming icons.
Alongside uniting a bunch of big gaming series, we also get to see some of Override's gameplay mechanics, including being able to run around like Sonic, using Mega Man's Mega Buster, and getting a lift from a blocky version of Tails. A 1UP coin plays a big role in the trailer too, so it might function as a revive of some sort.
I could swear that Bucky O'Hare is in this season as a sprite, but that might be a reach.
One very notable omission from the trailer is the leaked Kingdom Hearts collaboration, with no sign of Sora or the Keyblade despite appearing in the leaked key art. I imagine that means he's going to be included in the Item Shop instead of as part of the Battle Pass, but I'll just be happy to see him in some form.
