Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Hulk-smashing the box office.
2026's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which features Tom Holland's return as Peter Parker opposite a cast that also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal as Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, is the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the last to debut in theaters ahead of the anticipated crossover Avengers: Doomsday. The movie has already shattered numerous records, including earning the best domestic box office debut of all time and becoming the second fastest movie in history to earn $1 billion worldwide (after fellow MCU project Avengers: Endgame).
Sony Pictures Entertainment has now announced that Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially hit a cumulative domestic gross of $508.7 million on Thursday, which is the final day of its first full week in theaters. This makes it the quickest movie to pass the $500 million milestone at the domestic box office and gives it the highest-grossing first week in domestic box office history (surpassing Avengers: Endgame).
