New GTA 6 Leaks Could Be Shared By Hacker Today
GTA 6 Hacker Threatens More Leaks As Take-Two Tries To Scrub Videos From The Internet
The hacker who shared gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 yesterday is teasing more leaks to come as Take-Two hurries to remove whatever it can.
We all knew that August was going to be a big month for GTA 6 news with the Extended Look arriving at the tail end of the month, but it seems like fate had other plans in store. As all of you know by now, gameplay footage from a 2024 build of GTA 6 was leaked yesterday by a hacker group known as Cyberleek, who is going after Rockstar for the lack of a physical release.
The two gameplay videos looked to be genuine, and Take-Two’s takedowns have proven that to be the case, with clips consistently being scrubbed over the past 12 hours. It seems Take-Two and Rockstar might have more trouble on its hands, though, as the main account behind the leaks has teased that there’s “more to come” today.
GTA 6 Could Be Leaked Even More Today By Cyberleek
Take-Two And Rockstar Are Going To Be Furious
Since the gameplay footage was released yesterday, Rockstar and Take-Two have been working tirelessly to remove any trace of the videos. Strangely, though, it hasn’t managed to get the Twitter account of the leaker, cyberleek_ar_io, taken down just yet. As of the time of writing, the account is still active, and even teased more leaks yesterday.
One post from the account reads, “2-4 More Leaks incoming”, which was followed up a few hours later by a Kanye West quote about staring at “money too long”. Just a few minutes ago, the account tagged Rockstar and said, "we will not be playing any more waiting games today. You are under a ticking time bomb, meet our demands or else we will leak the rest of the gameplay'".
Another account associated with the hacker group, MrCyberLeek, is still up right now and has the message “More To Come” in their Twitter bio. That account also told fans to “sleep well tonight” and make sure they have “enough energy for tomorrow”, implying that more leaks are going to be shared. Twitter user GTASixInfo pointed out that mrcyberleek’s Discord profile specifically has 8pm ET in its bio, which could be a hint at when more videos are going to be shared.
This is, of course, assuming that Rockstar and Take-Two don’t find a way to deal with the group and prevent the leaks. Neither company have said anything about it just yet, but we’ll be sure to update you when that happens.
Of course, with Cyberleek becoming such a big deal in the past 12 hours, there’s a good chance that some of the accounts and things being shared around are copycats. There are a ton of AI videos being spread around that are claimed to be from the hacker group, so it’s really worth not believing everything you see.
