Check Out Browser-Based Game Where You Move Islands to Escape Typhoons
The developer, tatsumaki games, has a lot of other entertaining games that run in the browser.
Game Developer known as tatsumaki games unveiled a browser-based game where you move the Japanese archipelago to avoid a natural disaster.
The game is called Typhoon Escape, and the rules are rather simple: move the island group so it stays safe from the looming storms. Their trajectories are predictable, but there are a lot of them, so you need to stay alert and keep the archipelago safe, moving it around the map – and, in the process, other islands and continents too. If you don't succeed, a news-like message about the disaster appears on the screen.
Typhoon Escape also features a storm track map interface, which makes you feel like a scientist observing the typhoons.
