This game prototype really lives up to its working title, Wobble. It's such a simple yet fun concept, and it honestly feels like the kind of game that could have fit right into the PSP's library.
Min Tram, also known online as phaspez, said he was inspired by Rain World for the map and level design too. For the ladders to work this way, he wrote custom collision logic for the platforms. Adding inverted platforms then came down to flipping the normal vectors during collision checks.
The bouncy and stretchy walls are all made out of polygons. If you're interested in the jelly-like physics, the developer recommends checking out this video by Walaber:
