FC 27 ratings: When will they be revealed, and who will be the best players?

With FC 27 around the corner, we're all wondering who the year's best players are going to be.

After stellar seasons, Mohamed Salah, Kylian Mbappé, Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí topped the charts in FC 26, but there's sure to be a shake-up this year after the World Cup.

So, who is going to top the charts this time around, and when will we find out? Here's what you need to know.

When will FC 27 ratings be revealed?

At the time of writing, EA Sports has not announced when the ratings for FC 27 will be released.

That being said, we have a pretty good idea that they will be released on or around 11 September 2026.

That's because in the last three years, EA has released the ratings on the Friday before the early access launch.

With this year's early access launch taking place on 18 September, it stands to reason that 11 September will be the day.

FC 27 ratings: Who will be the best players?

Naturally, since we don't know the ratings for FC 27, this is all going to be pure guesswork, but while we may not be able to confirm the overall highest-rated players, we can all probably guess which names are going to be in the running.

Kylian Mbappé will almost certainly maintain his position at the top – he is the game's cover star after all. Whether his rating changes from 91 remains to be seen.

After a triumphant World Cup campaign, Spain stars Lamine Yamal and Rodri are going to be popular choices, especially with Yamal a favourite for this year's Ballon d'Or.

We would expect to see the likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Harry Kane all vying for the top spot alongside them.

Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, both at the peak of their powers going into FC 26, will likely drop somewhat this year, especially following Salah's move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

In the women's game, Alexia Putellas is a sure bet to maintain her top rating, while former Barca partner Aitana Bonmatí may see a drop following her move to London City Lionesses.

Putellas's Barca teammates Ewa Pajor and Caroline Graham Hansen will definitely be in the running for that top spot too, while Bayern's Pernille Harder, Lyon's Melchie Dumornay and Manchester City's Bunny Shaw will also be in the running.
