Every Upcoming Jason Statham Movie Releasing In 2026 And Beyond

There aren't many actors in Hollywood who work as consistently as Jason Statham, and his proficiency means audiences are never short on upcoming movies starring him. The English action star has been a consistent presence for moviegoers following his debut in Guy Ritchie's 1998 Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. That movie launched a long-lasting partnership and soon allowed Statham to start gaining more notable roles.

His career has seen him headline multiple standalone movies that put his action movie skills to good use, such as The Italian Job, Wrath of Man, and A Working Man​​​​​​. Statham has also starred in multiple franchises: The Transporter, Crank, The Expendables, Fast & Furious, The Mechanic, and The Meg. Whether standalone or IP plays, his films routinely find success thanks to his broad appeal.

While he's dipped his toes into villain parts sparingly, Statham is most frequently the hero of his movies, oftentimes playing a lethal man who is a current or former member of the military seeking revenge and/or protecting those in danger. This allows the actor to deploy his martial arts training for audiences' enjoyment in films that more often than not land R-ratings.

Even as he approaches his 60s, Statham is not slowing down. He is as busy as ever before, and just as in-demand after The Beekeeper's box office success. This has allowed him to have multiple movies slated for release in the years ahead.

6 Mutiny

Statham is heading back to the screen next with Mutiny. The 95-minute R-rated movie hits theaters on August 21, 2026. Statham stars as Cole Reed, a former military member who seeks revenge on the men responsible for killing his boss and framing him for the crime. This leads him to become a stowaway on a boat and fight and shoot his way through enemies as he saves others onboard.

Mutiny comes from director Jean-François Richet, who previously helmed Gerard Butler's Plane. The supporting cast around Statham includes Annabelle Wallis, Adrian Lester, Jason Wong, Lee Charles, Arnas Fedaravicius, Roland Møller, and Ramon Tikaram. Mutiny's reviews have been mixed ahead of its release, netting it a Rotten critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.

5 The Beekeeper 2

The success that The Beekeeper experienced gave Amazon MGM confidence to turn the movie into a franchise and greenlight The Beekeeper 2. Statham returns as Adam Clay for the sequel, which has been given a January 15, 2027, release date. That will put the follow-up on the big screen almost three years exactly after the hit $140 million original.

The Beekeeper 2 has a new director in Timo Tjahjanto (Nobody) after David Ayer moved on to other projects, including with Statham (more on that later). Joining Statham as returning cast members are Emmy Raver-Lampman as Verona Parker, Jeremy Irons as Wallace Westwyld, Jemma Redgrave as Jessica Danforth, and Bobby Naderi as Agent Matt Miley. The Beekeeper 2's cast includes notable new additions in Pom Klementieff (Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning), Yara Shahidi (Grown-ish), and wrestler Adam Copeland (Vikings).

4 Jason Statham Stole My Bike

Statham's upcoming movies aren't all pure action thrillers, as Jason Statham Stole My Bike injects some added comedy to his formula. As suggested by the title, the film sees the action star play a fictionalized version of himself who evidently steals someone's bike. Black Bear has set Jason Statham Stole My Bike for release on August 6, 2027.

The action-comedy unites Statham with director David Leitch after working together on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. The British actor's main co-star will be Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), who also has a history with Leitch, having played a supporting role in The Fall Guy. Additional cast members include Daniel Ings (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), Eddie Peng (Black Dog), and Artie Wilkison-Hunt (Masters of the Universe).

3 Fast Forever

It is expected that Statham will return as Deckard Shaw for Fast Forever, the eleventh and final installment of Universal's mainline Fast & Furious saga. He has appeared in every entry in some capacity since Fast & Furious 6 introduced him in a post-credits scene. As long as this continues, he'll reprise his role as the eldest Shaw sibling when Fast Forever hits theaters, currently dated for March 17, 2028. Filming is aiming to begin in December 2026, so Statham's return should be confirmed before then.

The new movie will once again be directed by Louis Leterrier and see Vin Diesel return in the lead role as Dominic Toretto. Based on Fast X's ending, it is expected that Michelle Rodriguez's Letty, Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs, Jason Momoa's Dante, Nathalie Emmanuel's Ramsey, Gal Gadot's Gisele, Charlize Theron's Cipher, Jordana Brewster's Mia, Sung Kang's Han, Tyrese Gibson's Roman, and Ludacris' Tej will all join Statham in the blockbuster.

2 Viva La Madness

Statham and Ritchie are reuniting once more in the future for Viva La Madness. The pair have made five movies together over the years, with 2023's Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre the last instance. Now, Statham is set to star in Ritchie's adaptation of J.J. Connolly's Viva La Madness novel, which served as a sequel to Layer Cake, previously adapted for the screen by Matthew Vaughn with Daniel Craig in the lead role of X.

Statham now takes over as X for Viva La Madness, although it is not expected to feature any direct connections to Craig and Vaughn's prior film. Production is already complete, with Ritchie confirming in 2026 to Collider that he is busy editing the film. It does not have a confirmed release date, but Viva La Madness could be ready in 2027 or 2028. Statham will be surrounded by Camila Mendes (Masters of the Universe), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter), Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Vinnie Jones (Snatch), Babs Olusanmokun (Dune), and more.

1 John Doe

Following the successful outings of The Beekeeper and A Working Man, Statham and David Ayer are set to work together a third time on a new action thriller. Currently titled John Doe, the movie was revealed to be in development in April 2026. Production is expected to begin in September 2026. There is no release date set for John Doe, but the production timeline could get it done in time for a 2027 release, even if 2028 is more likely.

Statham will portray the Man With No Name, taking a page from Clint Eastwood's character in Sergio Leone's masterful Western Dollars Trilogy. The story is reminiscent of The Bourne Identity, as Statham's unnamed protagonist loses his memory in the middle of a mission and must rediscover who he is as threats emerge. It positions John Doe as one of Jason Statham's most exciting upcoming movies.
