Echo Generation and Luto are free to claim on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has come back with even more freebies, as its weekly promotion has just been refreshed. Last week's Nova Lands and Tattoo Tycoon offers have just gone away, and to replace them, copies of Echo Generation Midnight Edition and Luto have already landed. As always, the games are yours to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library within the next seven days.

Talking about Echo Generation first, this is a turn-based adventure that takes you to the 90s. You take the role of a kid leading a gang of friends through their town to investigate a mysterious crash. There are monsters, aliens, and talking raccoons to battle along the way.

This being the upgraded Midnight Edition also means you get additional features like enhanced visuals, a fast travel system, and a quest tracker to make the gameplay smoother.

"Set in the 90s, Echo Generation has a heartwarming story about the supernatural, family and the nostalgia of growing up in a small town," says developer Cococucumber. "The folks of Maple Town are always happy to lend a hand as you complete quests and solve mysteries; some may unlock new paths or hint at a secret or two."

Next, horror fans can also claim Luto. This first-person psychological horror experience from Broken Bird Games traps you in a house that isn't letting you escape. The title is said to offer a more unsettling and oppressive atmosphere than jump scares as it explores themes like anxiety and depression.

"Every attempt to escape will lead you deeper into the unknown, where nothing is as it seems and everything will test your senses," describes the developer. "Delve into an enigmatic place and explore its labyrinthine paths full of secrets. The truth has many faces, and you might not like the one you find."

The Echo Generation Midnight Edition and Luto giveaways will be available until July 23 on the Epic Games Store, giving you seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, a new game will take their place on the same day, which has been revealed to be Foretales.
