GTA 6 brand new release seemingly locked in by Rockstar Games, launching December 11
Grand Theft Auto VI is within touching distance, with the eyes of the world firmly set on launch day.
Rockstar Games’ behemoth title is finally due to be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, with Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album dropping on the same day.
Players surely aren’t going to be able to tear themselves away from their adventures in Leonida for the remainder of the year, and potentially beyond too.
If GTA VI’s leaked file size proves to be real, this game is larger than we ever anticipated - and that’s saying something.
All of this being said, you might want to lift your head above the parapet on December 11 as it appears that another new GTA VI release is on the way.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score has surfaced on Apple Music, as pointed out by Reddit user yourfavchoom, with a release date of December 11.
GTA VI’s score is set to bring us 50 more tracks

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album and Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score are very different beasts.
The former, I suppose, is more of a concept album used to promote GTA VI, with familiar artists creating songs that are fitting of GTA VI’s universe, many of which will supposedly feature throughout the experience.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, however, will include all of GTA VI’s instrumental tracks and voiced songs that form its main musical DNA, with the leaked listing seemingly revealing a total of 50 tracks.
At the moment, the only revealed tracks are the already announced ‘Flower In A Hurricane’ by Justice, Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard as well as ‘Pusher’.
‘Pusher’ has not yet been formally announced and appears to be by Justice featuring Gesaffelstein.
Thankfully, no other tracks are listed at the moment, as instrumental song titles can often reveal major story beats.
“All fun and games until a track called Lucia’s funeral gets released a week early,” joked bigmadbird.
Rockstar Games narrowly avoided CYBERLEEK spoiling the game’s ending; let’s hope Apple Music now doesn’t find itself responsible.
While you should take all leaks with a pinch of salt, that December 11 launch date feels likely - especially considering that it was leaked by the very legitimate Apple Music.
It makes sense that Rockstar Games would allow several weeks for players to finish the story before launching the potentially spoiler heavy score.
As the score is yet to be officially revealed at this stage, we don’t know whether it’ll be supported with physical versions.
Hopefully that will be the case. There are tons of variants of GTA VI: The Album, so it only feels fair that GTA VI: Original Score at least gets a CD and Vinyl that, we’re sure, avid fans will snap up.
Unfortunately, this does still mean we’re waiting on a PC release date but with insiders claiming that one is coming in Q1 of 2027, which runs from January to March, perhaps there’s less time to wait than many originally feared.
And for those who have pre-ordered the console version, don’t forget that pre-loads begin on November 12.
