Solo Leveling Officially Returns This Year With KARMA
There's no doubt that Solo Leveling really took the world by storm when it first released as a webtoon and animated series. All of that success came from the relatively humble origins of a web novel by Chugong, with the South Korean export now serving as a major multimedia franchise in its own right.
A big part of that is adaptations to other mediums, with the big one being Solo Leveling: ARISE, the action RPG developed by developed by Netmarble Neo. Now, it's about to return in another game, and it has the potential to be one of the most exciting projects tied to the IP that we have seen to date.
Solo Leveling Karma is an upcoming release that's billed as an immersive action RPG that's set to release for PC and mobile this year. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the game features roguelite elements, though it isn't currently clear whether it will feature the Gacha elements that marked out the previous release.
In letting fans know a little about what they can expect from the story of the game, the developer shared the following insight:
"Though he emerged victorious in the battle against the Monarchs who sought to conquer Earth, Sung Jinwoo lost many people he cared about. Using the Cup of Reincarnation, he turned back time to a point before the gates ever appeared. As Jinwoo continues his war against the Monarchs within the dimensional gap, the mysterious Messengers of the Itarim and their creator appear before him. To protect the dimensional gap, the Messengers of the Itarim form a pact with Sung Jinwoo and lend him their power. Armed with newfound powers, Jinwoo cuts through the endless Denizens of Chaos. But as he presses forward, he comes face to face with an unexpected enemy..."
Sung Jinwoo's presence will likely appeal to most fans at the time of writing, though the gameplay elements do look spectacularly complex, and that may phase out more casual players. The game doesn't have a specific release date just yet, but with this year in midnd, you shouldn't have too long to wait.

Announced in July 2026, that's set to release next year, though we haven't had official confirmation from Crunchyroll on a date.
