Sheldon Cooper's Fate Revealed For New Big Bang Theory Spinoff

Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe finally reveals Sheldon Cooper's fate.

In an interview with TVLine, co-creators Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre confirmed that The Big Bang Theory legend Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) won't be making an appearance in the spinoff after Stuart Fails to Save the Universe season 1, episode 3 mentioned the fan-favorite character supposedly in the Magic Realm with Magic Realm Alexa stating the character is in a revival of Man of La Mancha on Broadway subtly nodding at Parsons and his career in theater.

Prady states, "In that universe," Cooper has traded physics for theater and says that in the magical realm, "he couldn't have been a scientist." Lorre also chimes in and adds, "He's a Broadway star." It's unclear if Parsons will ever return to the world, but Prady keeps the door open by stating that the magical realm Sheldon is busy on Broadway. The actor also recently revealed how "miserable" he was during The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon Cooper and stated:

"I wouldn't do that again for any amount of money, just because it was stressful and miserable at times. I made myself miserable. "I had a list of things basically in my head that I had to get done in order to be comfortable and know that I could do my job right, which I don't think was true. I missed tons of life."

More to come...
