Lioness keeps succeeding in every mission it is given.
Taylor Sheridan's empire of TV shows just keeps growing every year, as the return of fan-favorite series and the debut of exciting new shows of the most varied genres keep the prolific creator at the forefront of the industry. In 2026, Sheridan's Yellowstone franchise has seen a lot of success, as both Marshals, on CBS, and Dutton Ranch, on Paramount+, have posted huge viewership numbers, earning season 2 renewals. Now, it is time for one of Sheridan's non-Yellowstone shows to shine, as Lioness, one of Paramount+'s most popular series, has come back by making quite the splash.
According to Variety, the Lioness season 3 premiere brought in 7.1 million viewers in its first seven days on Paramount+. The numbers come from official Paramount data, with the Lioness season 3 premiere said to have performed significantly better than the first episode of season 2 did in 2024. In Europe's SkyShowtime, where Lioness also airs in addition to Paramount+, not only is season 3 performing better than the spy thriller's first two seasons, but the Sheridan action series is also pacing to have one of the top five returning premieres in the platform to date.
