This Website Turns Your Sketches Into Music

You might've seen this little trend over the weekend, where scribbles turn into ambient tunes. It's a project by artist Tala Schlossberg called play_music_theory, which she describes as a "visual instrument designed to help us explore the relationship between sound and shape". Basically, it lets you listen to your drawings. Just open the website, draw using a simple pen tool and a few colors, then hit play.

It's free to use on the web, with paid app and one-time purchase versions with extra features. You can choose your key, set the beat and exact tempo, and export your loop as a WAV or MIDI file. Give the instrument a try here, then scroll down to see some examples:
