When is the next Fortnite season? Chapter 7 Season 4 release date
If you're excited for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, then you don't have long to wait as the release date is nearly upon us.
We don't know a huge amount about what's coming next season, but we do have a few leaks to go on, and it's looking like a big update for plenty of gamers!
As we get closer to launch, we'll certainly find out more, but for now, we just know when it kicks off.

When does the next Fortnite season start? Chapter 7 Season 3 release date
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is expected to begin on Thursday, 20 August 2026.
Season 3 is scheduled to end on 19 August, at which point the game will go down for a few hours of maintenance as the servers are rebooted for the new season.
Depending on the size of the new update, this could take anywhere from a couple of hours to all day, though we'll obviously be hoping for the former.
What do we know about Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3?
Not much is known about Chapter 7 Season 4 as Epic Games is keeping things under wraps.
One thing we know for sure is that the name of the season is 'Override,' as teased by Epic Games earlier this month.
According to various leaks and rumours, the season will be a celebration of gaming, bringing iconic characters from some of the biggest franchises around to Fortnite for the first time.
A report from prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX alleged that collaborations with Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, Vampire Survivors, KakaoGames, Kernel Hearts and Ember & Blade are all confirmed.
Furthermore, there are leaked collaborations with Persona 5, Mega Man, Crash Bandicoot and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, although these are not 100% confirmed, according to HYPEX.
Of course, this would be far from the first time that Fortnite has added video game characters to the game, with Street Fighter, God of War, Halo, Tomb Raider and many more already getting their own crossover skins.
