The publisher’s new celebration guide for ACOTAR 6 is explicitly built around an “Autumn Equinox Evening,” and that choice feels particularly notable given how little is officially known about Sarah J. Maas’ next novel.
The timing is especially interesting because the Autumn Equinox falls on September 22, 2026, while the guide from Bloomsbury repeatedly leans into autumn imagery, colors, food and references associated with Prythian’s Autumn Court. None of this confirms the setting of ACOTAR 6, but the sheer number of connections makes the possibility difficult for readers to ignore.
The Autumn Court References Feel Deliberate
The strongest clue may be Bloomsbury’s “Feast Fit for Foxes” section. Foxes are closely associated with the Autumn Court, making the publisher’s decision to feature them particularly intriguing. For longtime readers, an Autumn Court storyline would open the door to a part of Prythian that has remained comparatively unexplored. Eris has received increasing attention throughout the series, while Lucien’s complicated relationship with his family and his history with the court leave plenty of unresolved material.
