Star Wars Zero Company Officially Adds Another Fan-Favorite Character
Star Wars Zero Company Officially Confirms A Fan-Favorite Clone Wars Character Return
Ever since Star Wars Zero Company revealed that it was going to be set during the Clone Wars, there has been a fair share of speculation over which plot elements or characters might make a cameo in the game's original storyline. Although the official release date reveal already offered a familiar face with the return of a Clone Wars-era Anakin Skywalker, that's far from all Zero Company has in store for fans of the series.
Just 10 days before Star Wars: Zero Company was set to release, the official EA Star Wars YouTube channel put out one final trailer to get fans hyped for the upcoming tactical simulation game, and thanks to one surprise character reveal, it has absolutely achieved that goal already.
Zero Company Has One Last Surprise For Players Before Release
While the trailer finally unveils some core story details and new characters that we'll meet along the way, one of the most notable aspects of the trailer comes from a blink-and-you'll-miss-it character reveal at the 1:45 mark. At this timestamp, for a single second at most, fans can catch a glimpse of Captain Rex standing beside Anakin on an alien planet.
Although it's unclear how much of a role Rex will actually have within the story of Star Wars Zero Company itself, considering the brief appearance is the first time the fan-favorite character has even been mentioned since Zero Company's initial reveal, fans have been losing their minds over the announcement already.

As if the small glimpse of the Clone Wars' most iconic duo on what could possibly even be Umbara wasn't exciting enough on its own, the trailer then immediately cuts to another short scene showcasing a massive battle agains ta Separtist Army, with Armored Assault Tanks, Hailfire Droids, and Mobile Troop Transports.
Rex's Reveal Opens Up New Storytelling Possibilities
Although fans would have already had the opportunity to make Rex for themselves using the incredibly detailed clone customization offered by Star Wars Zero Company, the inclusion of the fully independent story character could lean more heavily into the evolving narrative of the Clone Wars, while possibly even tying more closely into the show and its spinoff material.
While we'll have to wait and see how much of a role Rex and even Anakin actually play in the story, and whether they'll be a reoccurring part of your crew or simply join you for a few one-off missions, Star Wars Zero Company is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing Star Wars games we've seen in years, with plenty to offer for fans of the Clone Wars era.
