When is the next Fortnite live event? Expected date and UK start time
As we prepare to close out Chapter 7 Season 3 and welcome in the next season, we first have the next Fortnite live event to look forward to.
With some gaming icons set to arrive in the next season, we're excited to see what Epic Games has been working on behind the scenes.
So, for everything we know about the next live event in Fortnite, let's get into it.
When is the next Fortnite live event? Date and UK start time
The next Fortnite Live Event does not have a confirmed start date yet.
According to datamined files from the v41.30 update, a Story Moment called 'Unstable' is in the works, with an expected slot on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Now, this is purely speculation at the moment, so until we have confirmation, take this information with a grain of salt.
As for what time it will start, the last Fortnite live event began at midnight BST.
As such, assuming that the event does indeed take place in the slot mentioned above, here's what time the live event could begin in your time zone:
- US West Coast (PDT) – 4pm
- US Mountain (MDT) – 5pm
- US Central (CDT) – 6pm
- US East Coast (EDT) – 7pm
- Brazil (BRT) – 8pm
- UK (BST) – 12am (16 June)
- Central Europe (CEST) – 1am (16 June)
- South Africa (SAST) – 1am (16 June)
- Singapore (SGT) – 7am (16 June)
- Australia East Coast (AEST) – 9am (16 June)
- New Zealand (NZST) – 11am (16 June)
What to expect for the next Fortnite live event
At the moment, we don't know anything about the next Fortnite live event.
According to leaks, the next Fortnite season will focus on iconic gaming series, so perhaps we'll see something related to those.
The last live event closed out Chapter 7 Season 2, and brought the clash between the Ice King and the Foundation front and centre.
How to join a Fortnite live event
To experience the next Fortnite live event, it's best to join a game of Battle Royale before the event is due to begin to experience it in its entirety.
In preparation for events, Epic often takes down Fortnite experiences (like creator mode) until the event's conclusion as it begins to work on implementing the update.
We suspect it will play out much the same way for the next live event, though we'd recommend logging on at least a couple of hours early if you are serious about attending it.
As the most popular game in the world, Fortnite commonly receives huge queues as players attempt to sign on to Epic's servers, so whatever you do, always sign on early to not miss out.
