Bill Skarsgård Will Play The Lead in Kojima's PHYSINT
During the Tokyo Game Show’s XBOX presentation, Hideo Kojima took to the (digital) stage to reveal who will be playing the lead in his new tactical espionage title, PHYSINT. It’s none other than Bill Skarsgård, of IT fame. Following recent events that saw PlayStation try to pull the rug out from under Kojima and PHYSINT, the man himself delivered a positive update during Tokyo Game Show.
Kojima explained that he and Skarsgård are fans of each other’s work. This will be Skarsgård’s first role in a video game, and as debuts go, it’s a pretty massive one. Not much is really known about PHYSINT, but it promises to be something incredible that, if delivered right, could ‘redefine’ cinematic gaming.
Skarsgård Will Drive Kojima’s PHYSINT
In a new video published during the Tokyo Game Show’s XBOX segment, Kojima spoke about the development of PHYSINT. He capped off his speech with a revelation that Bill Skarsgård will be playing the game’s lead.
He said:
We are both long-time fans of each others’ work and we’ve decided to embark on this new adventure together. There are still many exciting cast announcements to come in the future, so please stay tuned for further updates.
The costume fittings, scans, and camera tests we conducted with Bill and Charlee earlier this year gave me tremendous confidence in the direction of the project. My vision of the final form became much more solidified. In fact, the new teaser visual revealed today uses a photo I personally took of the two of them during that session.
