Fallout 3 Prequel Is Coming to Most Disliked Game of Series

Bethesda is also working on remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Fallout fans will be excited to know that they'll soon be able to learn what happened before Fallout 3... or not, as the prequel, Raven Rock, will be an expansion for Fallout 76, the most disliked game in the series.

This is probably the only part that can dampen players' mood (well, some might also not enjoy returning to a location already visited in Fallout 3), as Bethesda also confirmed it's working on remasters for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas – a "secret" known to anyone who cares about the franchise.

Raven Rock is coming next year. Meanwhile, the studio is collaborating with Obsidian Entertainment, which brought us New Vegas, on "a new Fallout project."

Fans can also expect an "unscripted Fallout Shelter television project" with Amazon Studios and Kilter Films, Season 3 of the current TV show, The Elder Scrolls Online updates, The Elder Scrolls 6, and Fallout 5.

The latter is in preproduction, but Bethesda's focus is on TES 6.

"With over 65 million copies sold, players are still exploring Skyrim 15 years later, but we know it’s been a very long wait for the sequel. The next chapter is on the way. We’re where we planned to be, loving how it looks, and playing it every day."
