Lego's Next Massive Star Wars Set After Its $1,000 Death Star May Have Leaked

To mark the first anniversary of the gigantic set’s release, it sounds like Lego is preparing to unleash something that almost matches its Death Star set's size and price.
Lego's Next Big Set Could Be A 6,000-Piece Super Star Destroyer
Almost, but not quite. According to The Brick News, Lego’s next massive Star Wars set will be modeled after the Super Star Destroyer, the iconic ship on which Darth Vader spends a significant chunk of his time in the original trilogy. The Super Star Destroyer has been turned into Lego before, but never on this scale.
According to the leak, the new set will be 6,130 pieces and cost $799.99. Like I said, not quite on the same level as 2025’s Death Star, but most certainly breathing the same rarified air. That’s still big enough that it will comfortably rank among the top 20 biggest Lego sets ever, giving Star Wars fans another high-ranking entry that they’ll need to save up for.
There are AT-AT, Razor Crest, and Millennium Falcon sets that are all bigger.
They’ll need to save fast too, as the same leak claims this set will be here on October 1, 2026. That strongly suggests the norm moving forward for Star Wars will be one sizable set like this per year. It’s a framework Lego has used for The Lord of the Rings since 2023. Its continued use for LOTR, and proposed use for Star Wars, suggests that even though it seems like releasing sets that are unaffordable for most people at a relatively quick clip is a system that works.
This Particular Lego Leak Might Not Be As Concrete As Others
While Lego leaks can typically be treated as confirmation based on precedent, this Super Star Destroyer set isn’t quite set in stone. While there have been rumblings from other leakers that this set is real, there has been no additional information outside of this single leak more recently regarding price, piece count, and release date. This is the same account that shared details about Lego potentially ditching plans for future Sonic and Animal Crossing sets, though, which, unfortunately, seems to be accurate.
Lego leakers have been more focused on a bigger Star Wars Lego leak this week that has potentially revealed 18 new sets coming our way in the near future. There is, interestingly, no mention of the massive Super Star Destroyer in that leak. However, the leak covers the first four months of 2027, whereas the big new set potentially coming our way will be here by October.
