Marvel Rivals update today (11 September): What changes in the Season 10 patch notes?
With a new foe to defeat comes new storylines to unravel, with a lot of content surrounding Gorr the God Butcher in a new serial titled "Butcher’s Blasphemy" and new lore "All Gods Will Die".
There is also a new Loki narrative to uncover called Journey into Mystery, and what it will entail is for you to find out.
For you Scarlet Witch fanatics, Wanda is also getting a complete overhaul – including a new ability. Wanda will now have an ability called Scarlet Hex that allows her to blast a huge shockwave.
Wanda is also receiving a new passive, Chaos Mark Synergy, that when used gives her 25 per cent bonus health for the amount of damage given, with a max of 50 bonus health.
Alongside this, the hex caster’s Dark Seal mechanic now stuns enemies for a shorter time, before dealing damage and slowing down opponents.
These changes are meant to bring more of a balance to the game and will certainly challenge players to come up with new strategies when it comes to wielding Wanda.
But beyond gameplay, there is a whole new store selection to peruse, including Gorr the God Butcher bundles, emoji bundles and more. For gold-tier Season 10 players, rank rewards also include a costume reward for Gorr the God Butcher.
Season 4 Battle Pass, Fruit of Immortality, will also return for a limited time only, and can be purchased until 24 September.
For S10 Battle Pass, however, this season includes 10 new sets of heroic costumes for Loki, Captain America, White Fox and more.
And speaking of Season 10, the story event this time around will be The Tetrameron – players can now assist Loki and complete tasks to unlock plenty of rewards.
There are also some fixes and optimisations for heroes, patching up exploits and bugs including delayed responses, Rocket Raccoon positioning errors, louder footsteps for Black Cat and much more.
Finally, the Marvel Rivals Championship is returning for Season 10, and if you want a slice of the action then participate in the Open Qualifiers and complete at least six matches.
So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and defend the streets from Gorr!
