Prime members get Steelrising and eight more games to keep in August — Gaming

Amazon Luna (formerly Prime Gaming) has even more waves of games incoming to Amazon Prime members to fill up their libraries in August. These announcements usually arrive much earlier in the month, but this drop is a little late. The returning monthly promotion touts four more waves of fresh titles for the month, with Amazon selecting nine more games to give out on PC for no extra cost, right alongside its newest cloud expansions. A handful of games have already started to roll out too.

The latest list has some well-known indie games in its midst. However, easily the most high-profile entry is Steelrising. This Souls-like RPG lands from developer Spiders, letting players jump into an alternate-history version of the French Revolution where King Louis XVI uses an army of clockwork automatons to suppress the rebellion.

The action adventure game Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, city builder Havendock, and real-time tactics entry Airship: Kingdoms Adrift are good pickups this month too.

Below are all the newly announced games, their arrival dates, and the platforms (which are all available on PC) they arrive from. As the announcement was a little late this month, five games are already available to claim right now, including the highlight of the bunch:

Keep in mind that unlike giveaways that are seen in major storefronts like the Epic Games Store or Steam, these freebie periods for Prime members are active for a rather long time. The good news is that this means many titles from previous weeks or months are still available for you to claim and add to your PC gaming libraries too.
