FC 27 Web App and Companion App: Release date speculation and what to expect

Before FC 27 even launches, we’ll get the Web App and Compaion App to get started on your new Ultimate Team squad.

Whether it’s opening Packs or making transfers, you can start building your squad early – but how early?

Here’s everything you need to know about when you can expect the FC 27 Web App and Companion App to release.

When will the FC 27 Web App and Compaion App release?

EA Sports has not yet announced when the Web App and Companion App for FC 27 will release.

That being said, while we don’t know the official date, we have a very good idea about when we think it will release.

Based on previous years, the Web App for EA FC titles releases a couple of days before the start of early access, with the Companion App releasing one day later.

Based on the release dates for FC 26, we expect that the FC 27 Web App will release on 16 September 2026, while the FC 27 Companion App will release on 17 September 2026.

It should be noted that, in order to use the Web App and Companion App prior to release, you must have had an Ultimate Team club linked to your EA Account prior to 1 August 2026.

Furthermore, the FC 26 Web App and Companion App will be taken offline around a week before they relaunch for FC 27.

What to expect from the FC 27 Web App and Companion App

The FC 27 Web App and Companion App allow you to manage your Ultimate Team squad from your phone or PC.

Basically, everything apart from actually playing the matches themselves can be done via the Apps, whether that’s opening Packs, claiming objectives and rewards, completing SBCs and Evos, transferring players or building your squad.

The Web App can be accessed via the official EA Sports FC website, while the Companion App will be available to download from both the App Store and Play Store.

It should be noted that, while FC 27 is launching on Nintendo Switch, Switch players will not be able to use the Web App or Companion App.
