However, a little over three years later, the sports comedy series is now set to come back with season 4, which premieres on Apple TV on August 5. Ted Lasso season 3's ending marked a turning point for the series, with Jason Sudeikis' character choosing to leave AFC Richmond behind to spend more time with his son, Henry, back home and tend to his mental health. In Ted Lasso season 4, he gets a different homecoming, now back at the club he loves.

The footage begins with those two friends meeting again in the AFC Richmond locker room, which serves as a warm welcome not only to Sudeikis' character, but also to the fans as they get ready to re-enter the world of one of Apple TV's biggest shows.
