Microsoft Launches A Buildable Xbox Kit, Competing With Lego Consoles

Gaming consoles like Xbox have been receiving some serious price hikes in recent years that are putting them far more into the luxury category of home products. While computer parts have been getting more expensive for some time, the official Xbox account on X just announced a brand-new buildable brick set of their original gaming console, which costs even more than it would to buy a playable one for yourself.
Featuring Easter eggs for some of the original Xbox's most iconic games like Halo, Morrowind, and Psychonauts, the buildable console being produced by Mattel comes in at a whopping 3509 pieces, which is available from Amazon and Mattel Creations for $324, or Best Buy for $329.99.
