Hogwarts Legacy 2 Officially Announced By Warner Bros.

Fans of Hogwarts Legacy might want to sit down for this one. The sequel, Hogwarts Legacy 2 has now officially been confirmed. This follows job listings and a new hire that fueled speculation the sequel is on the horizon, alongside a pretty definitive statement from Warner Bros. that pointed to (but stopped short of confirming) a 2027 release window.
I grant you, this isn't the most exciting announcement in the world. In a new letter to shareholders, Warner Bros. Discovery has finally officially acknowledged the existence of the Harry Potter RPG sequel. This letter is a huge document taking in everything from its 150 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and the recent success of Game Of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon. The letter and upcoming is designed to showcase the company's ability to "consistently deliver compelling, high-quality content that resonates with our increasingly global audience remains a key differentiator and foundational long-term value driver as consumption habits continue to evolve."
Of course, this letter eventually gets down to touching on the recent and future games from WB Games. The company has had recent wins with LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and the mobile spinoff Game of Thrones: Dragonfire on mobile devices.
Here's what they had to say specifically about Hogwarts Legacy 2: "We expect Games to more meaningfully contribute to segment profitability going forward as our pipeline expands, including the second installment of Hogwarts Legacy."
