Discover Dark Secrets Behind Your Computer in This Challenging Puzzle

Desktop Explorer might not be your typical creepypasta horror game, but there's certainly something unsettling about it, hidden behind bright colors and a cheerful notepad helper.

Despite appearances and a not-so-subtle feeling that something is wrong, I wouldn't call this game a horror. You are tasked with solving multiple puzzles, some of which might frustrate you, but overall, this is a solid investigation piece where you are trying to figure out what happened to the previous owners of the PC.  

"Your uncle has given you his old PC as living inheritance. To your surprise, it still turns on! Inside, a letter tasks you with investigating a missing person’s case along with a mysterious puzzle game named Desktop Explorer. You’ll learn that your uncle wasn’t the only one who used this computer before, and that the program inside it has a deeper role in this 90s atmospheric digital mystery."

There are 3 (or are there?) profiles for you to practice your detective skills on, each with its own gameplay: password hunting, a game within a game, and a point-and-click adventure. 

Every stage reveals a part of one big picture, and you'll have to think to piece it all together.

Desktop Explorer has just been released, and Steam users think highly of it, so if you enjoy the genre and have about 10 hours on your hands, check it out.
