Spider-Man: Brand New Day Opening Weekend Box Office Officially Smashes Avengers: Endgame Record
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has officially set a new record.
Following the box office opening weekend for Spider-Man. Brand New Day, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' superhero film, has surpassed Avengers: Endgame's domestic opening from 2019, as the 2026 installment made $360 million. The Tom Holland-starring release grossed $169.8 million on Friday, July 31, $101.5 million on Saturday, August 1, and $88.7 million on Sunday, August 2, from 4487 locations.
This makes it the biggest opening of all time for the North American box office after only three days. In comparison, Avengers: Endgame pulled in $357.1 million domestically when it was first released in 2019.
